CHARLOTTE USTA LEAGUE OUTSTANDING FACILITY

At our recent USTA Adult League Captain's Meetings, the Charlotte Tennis Association recognized Charlotte Indoor Tennis Club as the 2018 Outstanding USTA League Facility of the Year. In 2018, Charlotte Indoor hosted 51 teams across all four local USTA League programs, which was an increase of 4% over 2017 and 59% over five years. USTA LEAGUE CAPTAINS MEETINGS AND SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS

The Charlotte Tennis Association recently hosted two fun and informative USTA League Captains Meetings, where we showed our appreciation for individuals captaining teams this spring. We also recognized several 2018 team captains. Congratulations to April Minish who was selected as our Outstanding USTA League Captain of the Year! AWARD WINNING CHARLOTTE PRO LEAGUE

The Charlotte Tennis Association is proud to announce that our Charlotte Pro League was recognized as the Team Tennis Event/Program of the Year by USTA North Carolina. Last year was the fourteenth season of the Pro League, which since it's inception has been supported by Sandoval Shuster Investment Consulting Group as the League Sponsor. MAKE TENNIS YOUR HEALTHY OBSESSION IN THE NEW YEAR

Register now for the 2019 Spring USTA Adult League. Women's and men's teams are forming across all age groups and NTRP levels to play singles/doubles. 2018 USTA NTRP RATINGS JUST RELEASED

The 2018 USTA League year wrapped up with a record number of over 11,000 registrations in Charlotte. Thanks to all players that participated, particularly all of our captains that worked hard for their teams. The 2018 year-end NTRP Ratings are now available and will go into effect on January 1, 2019 when registration for the Spring USTA Adult League opens. CHARLOTTE METRO USTA MIXED DOUBLES TEAMS TAKE STATE TITLE

Congratulations to the Charlotte Metro USTA Mixed Doubles State Champions! Eleven teams representing Charlotte Metro advanced to compete at the USTA North Carolina State Championships and two teams emerged as Champions: 18 & Over 8.0 team captained by Aokie James and 40 & Over 7.0 team captained by Teresa Geyling. The State Championships were held September 6-9 in Asheville. Teams will go on to compete at the Sectional Championships to be held in October in Little Rock, AR. Read More
 

FINAL USTA LEAGUE OF 2018 UNDERWAY

This week marks the start of the final USTA League program of 2018. Over 4,100 players representing 46 public and private facilities are participating on 330 teams this fall. Team match play will occur through mid-October culminating in playoff events for advancement to the State Championships. Charlotte has seen remarkable growth in 2018 with an increase of 73 teams across all four League programs!​ Read More
